Paperless Kitchen Skoy Cloth Giveaway

Review & Giveaway by: Search With Vonni

I am so excited to be presenting you with this new eco-friendly product.

Welcome to the Paperless Kitchen Skoy Cloth Giveaway!

About PaperlessKitchen Skoy Cloths (from their website):

These 100% biodegradable, all-natural cloths are perfect as a multi-use and re-usable paper towel or sponge. The SKOY cloth is a European created product which is completely 100% biodegradable; meaning it will break down when properly composted, since it is made from naturally occurring materials like cotton and a wood-based cellulose pulp. An independent study tested how long it would take for composition to occur and saw that the SKOY cloth broke down completely within 5 weeks.

SKOY cloths are chlorine free and the unique designs and colors are created using only water-based colors and inks. For durability, you will not find a better product and its reusability factor is attractive, considering you can keep using the same cloth for months without degradation in strength and absorption. In fact, one SKOY cloth is equal to using 15 rolls of paper towels in an average house. You can be saving up to $2 per roll simply by using the SKOY cloth.

Review / Thoughts by: Search With Vonni

I was given the opportunity to use the PaperlessKitchen Skoy Cloths. Skoy sent me 10 cloths for my personal use. Upon opening my package, I noticed that the cloths were stiff and hard. But after getting them wet, it looked like any other cloth. I decided to use one of the cloths to replace my dish sponge. In our family of 9, we always have dishes to wash. We do not have a dishwasher, so every plate, glass, silverware, and pots/pans are washed by hand. The cloth did a great job of wash the items without coming apart. After 10 days of washing dishes, the cloth was still put together. The cloth did look a little discolored but to kill germs, company advises to microwave the cloth slightly wet. Our family does not have a microwave, so I decided to put the cloth in the washing machine. The cloth came out clean and not shredded liked I thought it might be. After two weeks of washing dishes with this cloth, I am still able to get clean dishes! Another cloth, I used as a paperless paper towel. Skoy cloths have the ability to absorb 15x its own weight in liquid, per company website. One cloth can be used enough times to be equivalent to 15 rolls of paper towels, so that it makes it eco-friendly. To use the cloth, I simply wet the cloth and wrung the excess water. I then wiped whatever mess my family made in the kitchen. We also used it to clean the kitchen table. Simply wipe, rinse and re-use. It saves going to the store and purchasing rolls and rolls of paper towels!

Cloth Diaper Safe Diaper Rash Creams

It's been a while since I've linked up some good old fashioned cloth diaper information.

Life has been crazy around here, adjusting to being a mom of 4 has taken it's toll on me.

Autumn at All About Cloth Diapers

Posted an update to her cloth diaper safe diaper rash creams list.

I've tried several during my 22 months of cloth diapering my third son.  We found Grandma El's to work best for us.  There are many more cloth safe options out there.

Dyson proves no loss of suction using the IEC 60312 Cl 2.9 test standard. As the only vacuum to be certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America and featuring Clean Exhaust Air, it's easy to see why Dyson is an excellent choice for all your floor surfaces.
